Characteristics	Motorcraft MERCON LV features a high viscosity index, high-quality, hydro-processed base oils and specially formulated performance-efficient additives enable excellent shifting behavior in extreme weather and temperature conditions and protect against transmission freeze. This fluid has exceptionally good thermal properties, oxidation resistance, stability, and cold-fluidity. It provides protection against wear and prevents the formation of sludge, varnish, and foam. It also protects against rust and corrosion. It is colored red to facilitate the detection of potential leaks.
